Thinking of spending our Sunday afternoon there to relax.
yes, its a long vacation because of the ASEAN summit, it feels like
lenten holiday, from Friday to Monday(labor day) reality comes
on May 2.
After our event at Kasa Boix Quiapo we were supposed to go
straight home, then we thought... lets go to the highlands!
and so our trip starts...

while having lunch, we were clueless of where to spend the afternoon

Last Saturday the 22nd, April, we were invited by Allan Martinez a heritage

advocate, art lover, photographer, and a very good son. I met his parents,

amazing family, very humble antique collector and philatelist.

we all had an exciting day that afternoon, and here is my story.

One thing I miss about living near the church the way you really feel part of the
community's Lenten activities.

Take the traditional "Pabasa ng Pasyon", for ex. When I used to live in Grace Park
a few houses away from Grace church, there was no forgetting that Holy Week was
upon us, because the "Pabasa" almost literally became the soundtrack of the days
leading up to Good Friday.

I missed the #chinoylife Binondo-San Nicholas tour for this, woke up and travelled
as early as 330am to Camp Aguinaldo Grandstand which is the meeting place for the
April 13, visita Iglesia 2017 which is a lenten tradition done by the Catholic faithful
to meditate on the passion of Christ.

yesterday was my very first time to attend and participate. I was invited by a friend
who is also a member of CBCP. traditional this is done before Good Friday.
Churches in Manila are plenty, one of the many reasons why I choose to join this,
and yes, its my first time.
