in a few more years we shall have Succulent Gardens, Succulent Wreaths
and who knows, we can even be more creative use of succulent by creating
Christmas crafts from it
Mr. Lino Rom |
its truly a joy to join this group for only 1,000 registration fee.
There was a showcase of other cool succulent-related stuff but for the most part,
I think I'm going to need to keep an eye out for cactus and succulent shows,
since they're probably more likely to have the kinds of plants and pots in which
I'm most interested
I didnt win any major prize, since I didnt put my name in the paper that was passed
around(for facebook registrants) since I was so busy covering and taking videos of
the lecture, Still, I took home several goodies, and I'm hoping this post will throw
some more new members and new cacti lovers my way
I read about cacti and succulent in the past, because I was curious, but I was still
so amazed by the lecture, which just goes to show that I still have a lot left to learn.
3 hour is definitely not enough, Mr. Lito Ligon knows a great deal about succulents
and has a wonderful sense of humor to boot.
a very kind, interesting, and cool person, but is stunningly knowledgeable about succulents and cacti.

the early bird and our prizes. |
This Cactus seminar of sir Lino Rom was undoubtedly a great success, not only
because of its good attendance and the active participation of all those who are
present.
It was SoOo worth the trip!
NO TOUCHING please. we were told. as our skin and hardy hands will kill
the delicate and plants, some as old as 13 yrs old costing 20k back then.
My birthday's coming up in a couple of months... anyone wondering what to get me?
