car club culture: Parking boys

In the early days, Transportation in the Philippines is relatively underdeveloped,
partly due to the country's mountainous areas and scattered islands, and because
of the government's persistent under investment in the nation's infrastructure.
the first car association, the Philippine motor Association was established in
1931, which always campaigned for road safety.



Automobile history  has changed after the war. when  when roads are built since
1940 and continued all the way after the war during the rebuilding of Manila's infrastructure
Japanese car are bought in. and he first car club was established.
and Jeepneys became the most popular mode of public transportation in the
Philippines, they have also become a symbol of our Philippine culture. Another popular
mode of public transportation in the country is the motorized tricycle; they are
now common in car shows.


In the Philippines, traditional car clubs have been gathering car aficionados for
decades now, all with a passion for a certain type of car or driving activity.
and with the coming of the digital age. Car clubs have made their way onto
the internet as well, allowing those who live great distances away from each
other to be a part of something that brings them close in mind.
the first car enthusiast group I joined was the Nissan Bayan and R-Toyz Z.back
then I drove a Nissan B13 Sentra. car clubs

Some of the original car clubs still exist today, with their specific rule-set,
standards and ideals. each car club has their own set of officers to guide and
to lead its members. held DIY Get togethers, compare notes, make new
friends, contributing or being involved in their events. most specially, hang out.
and have fun.

Once you become a member, you receive perks for your involvement. like
meeting like minded, friends, with the same car brand and theme of setup.
there are groups that has several brand of car make in one club. like
4x4ph, kotse.com, 4kas audio, Caloocan Auto Club , Ca-Oto, UCCP and
Manila Auto Club.

Activities like car show event schedule, members-only apparel, club stickers,
car decal, discounts on car related services , parties, to mention a few.
Of course, one doesn’t really need to mention the ability to get together with
other people that feel the same way you do about your hobby. Let’s take a
look at one club that are still loud and proud, and how they came about.
