I freed my schedule for May 21, just to attend this event. its another
stamp exhibit titled "SELYONG PAMANA".

PHILPOST and PPF(Philippine Philatelic Federation) and is my
second time to attend a Stamp exhibit as a newbie Philatelist.
visits to the post office I have learned that the Philippines was the first
country in Asia to issue postage stamps. The first set of 4 stamps were
issued on February 1, 1854. It resulted from a Royal Decree of
Queen Isabella 2, issued in Madrid, Spain, dated January 12, 1853.
stamps for the prepayment of mail matter were unknown in the Philippines.back
then the first postage stamp was only issued in 1840 by Great Britain and by
the United States in 1845. Spain issued its first stamps in 1850.
