The Philippine Army in its One Hundred Twenty one Years of Serving the people
prepared a grand presentation via their information Caravan in celebration
of a hundred twenty one years of Heroic Heritage.
We just attended the Philippine Army's Information Caravan at Bonifacio
High Street, BGC, its part of a 2 day celebration of the 121st Philippine
Army Anniversary.
we arrive there at 10am. when we arrive we saw Major Mike Ramirez being
interviewed by PTV 4. here is video...
after the interview he showed us around the exhibit area, he made the preparation
for the whole event to make it as informative as possible.
I went with two of my friends
Herman and Allan P. Martinez
We went to each booth inspecting and checking out the various military hardware,
taking pictures and videos, interacting with the friendly soldiers who really know
how to guide us making sure we learn something new in every booth that we visit.
Now one of the major highlights is the static display of the different capabilities of
our military units.
where we got the chance to get closer to our soldiers, interact and mingle with them,
we also had a rare photo opportunities with our soldiers and their expensive military
hardware. however we missed the battle of the Army Bands Concert because we
headed to Malolos the live concerts were held for 2 nights 6-10pm from 10th to the
11th of March.
Aside from static displays, there are also audio visual presentations, virtual reality
demonstrations wherein you can see and experience the army's confidence fighting,
which is one of the exercises done by our soldiers there is also a puppet show, riffle
drill, and the Philippine army concert band all these and more are part of the yearly
Philippine army caravan presentation as a way to bring our soldiers close to the people.
We love each booth, particularly the one where a soldier serve as a tour guide
explaining the 121 years of service to the nation. from Spanish Philippines era to
the Zamboanga and Marawi Seige.
golden retriever and his handler.
there is also an area where you could interact with trained rescue dogs,
a golden retriever and a Belgian Malinois.
our Photog friend Allan enjoying the day
Below is a performance by the Philippine Army band
The exhibit focused on the Army’s commitment to its core purpose to serve the people,
and secure the land.
while the caravan showcases the Army’s various capabilities, Musikapayapaan 2018
brings live bands to the late afternoon attendees featuring live performancess from the
Philippine Army major units showcasing their talents in a band battle.
for late afternoon visitors you could see different bands of our Luzon-based Army
Units will perform as our way of expressing our gratitude to the people who
continuously supported our soldiers for the past 121 years of service to the nation.
Everything is a great experience, its a fun weekend with our Philippine Army soldiers.
here are some of the pictures I took from the event.
We all decided to join the celebrant- Jenny See.
Let me share something about the celebrant that some people may not know.
She graduated Cum Laude, however for Jenny, Education Doesn't End with Graduation so
she took up additional lessons on Make Up Artistry, Baking & Culinary
she believes photos are memory keepsakes so she took up lessons in photography
loves travelling and cooking and goes for anything YELLOW.
I got to witness how Her big heart works wonders for the less fortunate when I got to
attend some of her charity works, she finds ways to secretly help people without
posting these humanitarian activities. to be her best friend is a blessing.
But sorry to the few who took advantage of her kindness and generosity.
this woman got many admirers from politicians, doctors, nurses, chefs, pilot, mall manager
to name a few. But her heart belongs to Major Mike Ramirez CMOG,PA.
how did we celebrate her birthday? ill let you know in my next blog...
till here, this is your LOVERBOY Dennis signing out.
