carshows of summer

Naguilian La Union Car, Motor and Bike show. picture by my friend Randy Olarte
The signs of summer have arrived! Yeah!! this week marks the first OFFICIAL week of
summer vacation, when the kids crowd every nearby resorts and go around playing in
icafes and hanging out with peers at night.
It’s a great time to grab your camera, head outside, and photograph all the summer
activities on your bucket list.
so many carshows have been organized by my friends. and since I live in Caloocan,
Ill be focusing on carshows in Manila area.

It goes without saying that here at Caloocan a lot of people are crazy about all kinds
of cars and suv, trucks, and I know there are plenty of car lovers here in Monumento
that share the same passion for things that roll; therefore, the LOVERBOY would
like to recommend the following carshows that happened and are about to happen for
the hot summer.

TRAPIK AUDIO

Today I talked about modified cars Well modified cars are great but ....
Poorly modified cars are not so great. modified cars may be more work
for the technician thats a given.

and what if you have a new car under warranty and wanted to  customize ?
Modded cars and warranty coverage has always been a touchy subject. It’s
like oil and water. It’s up to your warranty admin and Service Manager to say
whether a repair gets covered or not. It’s their nuts on the line.  but if you want
to mod your new car, be prepared to kiss your warranty goodbye. and thats
the truth. well in tagalog we call this "tiis ganda". (thi-is ghanda)

Manila 70 years after. are we free?

The battle for the liberation of Manila—waged from February 3 to March 3, 1945,
( after three years of Imperial Japanese occupation) between Philippine and American
forces, and the Japanese forces is widely considered to be one of the  greatest tragedies
of the sad ending of WW2.

and  George Tiong, the book is entitled "A Guide to Dendrobium of the Philippines"
which is held at the tropical Garden.

I arrived at around 2pm and the members and officer of L.O.C.  have been busy setting
up the place along with officers of PHSI. at the other side, friends from the P.O.S.  are
busy setting up for the upcoming Flora Filipina 2015 also held at the QC Circle.
